course 1 | Fundamentals of Mediation

This course develops skills for dealing with conflict and teaches a step-by-step model to develop solutions in conflict situations (based on the Harvard Negotiation Project Model).

Participants will:

  • Build critical communication skills to encourage participation and resolve conflict.

  • Develop techniques to resolve potentially explosive or volatile situations.

  • Practice skills to give and receive criticism.

  • Develop innovative solutions that work for all parties in a conflict.

The hands-on interactive 5 day presentation of the course encourages participants to apply concepts using typical scenarios.
